Simplicity Vacuums Brand Refresh (2023)

For the Simplicity Vacuums brand refresh, there were three main things I proposed we change:

  • Color palette. Simplicity’s tagline is “Clean. Simple” so the color palette should be as well. We removed the colorful gradients and simplified the color palette.

  • Subheading font. The original subhead was a retro script font. Simplicity is sleek, but it is also youthful and inviting. We felt the subhead font didn’t reflect that, so we decided to change the font to something more loose and lively.

  • Introduce hand drawn elements. Simplicity is clean and simple, but never boring. It is fun and energetic! Vacuum ads can be as well. I proposed that we introduce hand drawn elements to our ads to attract a younger clientele on social media.
